I am affiliated with a company who sell bee products and have been doing so for almost 10 years. It is my (clearly biased) opinion that we offer the best ratio of quality and value for money and that we have product formulations that will also prove most beneficial to the consumer. I will explain more about this later on this page, but for now, here are some useful links where you can learn and buy your bee products in complete confidence.
The Natural Shopper is our parent website and we’ve been in business focusing on a carefully selected range of core products from almost 10 years. Our most popular product for many reasons is “Total Bee Plus” and you’ll see how potent and affordable it is when you visit our link.
We do have other web properties that you may come across when searching for “royal jelly”, for example, Hive Club and Royal Jelly Store are also our websites.
There are many suppliers of royal jelly and other bee products. This is how I grade them –
Internet only with a strong focus on marketing and mail order
Internet only but with more focus on research, product development and delivering quality and affordable products.
Businesses who are also bee farmers who sell online, perhaps through their own store, local stores and markets.
People might tend to migrate towards ‘bee farmer’ companies since they like to associate themselves with “Mom and Pop” stores who keep their own bees. But it’s not necessarily the best product for the nationwide consumer. They most likely use regional pollens collected from their own hives, their own honey and probably imported royal jelly from Asia. Why would they import royal jelly when they have their own hives? – It’s simple economics. There is only a very small amount of royal jelly withing each hive, the colony creates it only for the nourishment of the Queen bee, so not much is produced. To harvest royal jelly one not only needs hundred or even thousands of beehives, but also some fairly expensive equipment to extract and process the substance in ways to preserve its nutritional integrity. Most Mom and Pop bee farmers don’t have thousands of hives and don’t have the resources to produce their own royal jelly, they focus on honey and bee pollen only. So if they do offer a royal jelly product it is most likely of Asian origin.
My belief is that the best approach (for the consumer) is to work with a company who function more as a ‘laboratory and formulation’ house. We research optimal dosages, source suppliers of the highest integrity, blend pollens from many regions to provide widespread benefits then use one of the most sophisticated processing labs in the nation, to process and package the final product, under the scrutiny of the FDA (a licensed and regulated facility). The end result is simply a product of higher integrity, most benefit and least cost.
